...i'm sure you've heard both statements... they are popular idioms, cliche, at this point... but they held great significance for me at these moments in my life... especially a couple years after i attended a lecture by an islamic scholar on knowing how to ask the 1ness (ALLAH) for what you seek...
...rumi tells us, what You seek is seeking You...
...the speaker of the lecture said that to ask means, requires, that you know what you want...
...i've been receiving this lesson over and over... i do find that things i ask for, whether verbalized or not, occur... including self-destructive visions which manifest from a place of self-doubt, self-loathing, confusion...
...for me... the concept of keeping it real has meant to eschew that which i've visualized as evil - money - and those who gold rush - regardless of how this means selling themselves...
...thing with babylon is that it makes you value selling yourself - because it panders to our desire to show off, to be at the center of attention, to be narccississtic to get people to like us, follow us - the leader complex...
...i want to do the work, but not be at the center of attention, not be in the limelight, not be a personality... just want to do the Work... and what does the Work look like? what do i visualize?...
... in the most imminent sense... make the herbal blends that i can give to my clients who i touch, who i shift shape with, physiologically and energetically, to draw out their anandamyakosha, to heal their vinjanamya and manamya kosha - the emotional bodies... to do this to support me in doing the physical and energetic work on them in between... and growing this work i do with family members and friends... with others who need it...
...in chef-ing up dishes, i've come to understand how important aesthetic is... but also, conversely, how important the right combinations, the right formulation, the right foods are... meaning... aesthetics should be prostrate to the inner energetics of the food and not the other way around, as is the case in babylon cullinary presentations... as babylon reminds us: image is everything...
... so where do i make these formulations? i need to commit to a space that i rent and work out of and herbs that i can keep somewhere - where?... how do i get the herbs there?...
...so foremost is belief... genuine strength and faith in your offering... do you believe in what you are making? in what is in them? in the way you are going about it? in it's ability to heal to be transformative? ... if so... then commit... get what you need and put it all together... it will Work out, because You Are coming from a genuine place... you are not a salesman... You Are in the space of supporting those in your life that you work with to Connect...
...do it... now... Quietly... ALLAH IS INFINITE... do it because it needs to be done in the fork You Are in to the next stage...
